This is a full-time remote or hybrid role for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant at Williams Speech Therapy Services, Inc. Your main caseload will be patients in California via teletherapy. MUST HAVE California SLPA license or willing to apply for one.

 

Remote position: candidate must reside in California or Texas.

Candidate must reside in or close to Los Angeles, CA or San Antonio, TX.

We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children and/or adults. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients improve communication and swallowing abilities to enhance their quality of life.

We are also seeking an SLPA to treat individuals with communication, provide treatment and therapy, and document progress. The SLP and SLPA will collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans and participate in professional development activities to stay up to date with the latest technologies and techniques in speech therapy.

 

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (CALIFORNIA LICENSE REQUIRED/MUST APPLY FOR A CA LICENSE)
  • Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Certificate from an accredited program
  • Valid certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience with telehealth (pediatric and adult patients)
  • Experience in assessing and treating individuals with communication disorders
  • Knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based interventions in speech therapy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in documentation and record keeping
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Bilingual (preferred)
