Overview Salary: Starting at $60,000/year (Based on a 40-hour workweek) Company: Monogram Metal Shop About Us Monogram Metal Shop is a fast-moving metal fabrication business that takes pride in quick turnaround times and outstanding customer service . We are looking for a Design Engineer who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a dynamic environment. What We7re Looking For The right candidate must be able to multitask, take on different roles as needed, and maintain a positive attitude . SolidWorks experience is a must , as youll be designing and developing custom metal products. Flexibility is key —we occasionally require Saturday work or a few extra hours during the week (with at least one weeks notice for planning). Key Responsibilities First Shift (7am-3pm) Design and develop custom metal products using SolidWorks/Sheet Metal/Mechanical Engineering . Store Fixtures/Display Shop Drawings Tubing/Flat Sheets/Weldment Create accurate, production-ready CAD drawings . Work closely with the fabrication team to optimize designs for manufacturability. Collaborate with customers to refine and finalize product designs. Adapt to different tasks as needed to support the team. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience using SolidWorks . Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes ( sheet metal experience is required ). Ability to multitask and adjust to different roles as needed.
