Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our busy family practice

apply today-we'd love to hear from you! Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm, 1 Saturday per month 8am-2pm (arrival 7:45am all days)
Compensation: $24-$30/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist chairside
- Genuinely welcome patients into the practice - make them feel at ease
- Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
- A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
- Set up and break down of operatories
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory daily
- Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
- Provide post-operative instructions
- Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
- Stock supplies, order supplies, and any additional duties as necessary
- EDDA duties-placing fillings, fabricating temp crowns and seating crowns
Qualifications: - 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- 2+ years of experience as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
- X-Ray Certification required
- Active CPR/BLS Certification required
- EDDA Certification is preferred
- Certified Dental Assistant preferred
- Denticon experience is a plus but is not required
